Area 8 - a performance by Spaniel in the Works Theatre Company

Sunday 2nd Nov 3pm, Rodborough Church

Based on the book written by Captain P R
Symonds, Area 8 is a lively, funny, poignant
performance looking at the experiences of the
Civil Defence Services and A.R. P. in Stroud
and Nailsworth.
The performance takes in all aspects of life
during wartime from rationing and nursing to
what to do in an emergency and what the cry
“Rallyho!” means.

Rodborough the War Years - 1939-1945

Monday 4th Nov - Weds 12th Nov during church opening hours.

A tribute to those who died, with memories of local people, photos, extracts from school log books, personal diaries, parish records and newspaper articles depicting what it was like to be a resident in Rodborough between 1939 and 1945.
